Private W. Henderson

This man may be the William Henderson listed on the Presbyterian Church in Ireland's Roll of Honour as a private in the North Irish Horse, from Aughavadrin, Killeshandra Congregation, County Cavan. He was born on 18 July 1899 at Aughavadrin, the third of seven children of farmer William Henderson and his wife Agnes (née Jackson).

Henderson enlisted in the North Irish Horse between 14 November and 10 December 1917 (No.2752 – later Corps of Hussars No.72006).

Nothing more has been discovered about his service with the regiment during the war, but it is unlikely that he served overseas.
